What more could one possibly hope to read than about the two favourite passions of many of us - chocolate and sex?
When an American tourist walks into a Chocolate Shop in the middle of Paris, little does she realise she will be overcome by the aroma and sensuousness of the chocolate on sale, not to mention, the gorgeous chocolatier behind the counter.
I've read a few of Guillaume's short stories and they never fail to impress me. She doesn't write about every day occurrences, with many of her hot and steamy short stories set in the far historical past. The Chocolatier, however, is set in the modern times, but still, manages to deliver her incisive and tight thrills with her usual aplomb.
Unlike many authors in erotic fiction, Guillaume seems to be able to bring a fresh and lively feel to all of her titillating tales. I enjoyed The Chocolatier and was left wishing for more, which perhaps is always her intention with her short stories.
For a raunchy bedtime read, I would recommend this story be one you keep handy. Good job.
