First cab off the rank today is ME! YAY ME! Yes, I am a contributor to this fine document. I'm assuming if you're a reader of my blog, then there's a fairly good chance you know who I am by now, but hey, we gotta play by the rules, so here are a few things you either did or didn't know about me.

Today, I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of a release blitz for Pretty Masks, a new book out by a good friend of mine, fellow author C.A. Bell. Described as a twisted tale of revenge, I have to say, this one looks like a humdinger! BLURB: ![]() Masking a problem doesn’t fix it. No matter how long you keep it covered. We all hide behind masks. Whether that be a forced smile to a loved one after a long day. A sympathetic frown of concern to someone that doesn’t really matter to you. Or a professional face at work after an almighty row at home. The fact is, we all do it. We do it because we want to be prettier on the outside than we truly are on the inside. We do it to hide the cracks that have formed due to life. But what about the people who are forced to wear masks? The people who are forced to hide their true colours because society says so? Life has thrown its fair share of crap at Lois Johnston, and the one thing that has kept her sane and going for the last seven years is her husband, Nathan. But what happens when the one person that is keeping you safe from yourself leaves, taking not only your heart, but your sanity with them as well? For the first time in a long time Lois is about to remove the mask that was forced upon her years ago. But what’s matured underneath after years of heartache and hiding is something even uglier than before. Life has twisted her into a monster, and she’s about to set it free. So, for the past two or three blogs, I've been telling you all about this wonderful, new blogging magazine called READ MY MIND, which will come out on April 4th.
You may well have been asking yourself, who are the contributors to this magazine? Will they be worth reading and how much will all this cost me? Well, I can answer the last two questions easily. Read My Mind will be fun, informative and chocka-block full of the thoughts of some of the best authors, bloggers and musicians, from all over the world, going around. So, yes, it will be worth reading - Guaranteed. As to how much the magazine will cost you? I can't stress this enough. It will be ABSOLUTELY FREE and better than that it will have some amazing competitions in it that you can win great exposure and prizes in. For the first question, let me introduce you to some of the contributors. Regular readers of my blogs and reviews will know what that I am an enormous fanboy of a new, indie author by the name of Ken Fry. When Ken issues a new book, I sit up and take notice, before clicking on the link and downloading it to read. Ken has been unkindly compared to Ludlum and Dan Brown in the past. I say unkindly, because I've read all of Ken's books and I think he's better than either of those two illustrious authors. Personally, I would do it the other way and compare Ludlum and Brown to Ken Fry. I've often talked about one of the joys of being an indie author and reviewer as being that I get to discover new, exciting talent before anyone else and get to share that with the world. Ken, may be getting a little long in the tooth, but he is one of the freshest, most exciting, new indie authors in the marketplace today. It gives me enormous pleasure, therefore, to be able to present Ken's new book on Sierra Leone for your delight and delectation. RED GROUND BY KEN FRY
