I first met Ken through my association with the Alliance of Self-Published Authors (ASPA). I was told his books were in the mould of Ludlum, Dan Brown and others of that ilk. Being a natural skeptic about claims such as these, I approached his first book with some skepticism.
The claims were wrong, in my opinion. Yes, his book was somewhat Ludlumesque in style, but frankly, it was BETTER than any Ludlum I'd ever read (and I've read them all). This man is a real talent and deserves great recognition. Very few indie authors are prepared to take on the big blockbuster spy or espionage thrillers, but Ken is and he does it superbly. I would urge everyone to give his books a try and follow him. I did and now I'm a devoted fan.

He was a former publisher before deciding to retire and devote his full time to writing. He now lives in the UK and shares his home with 'Dickens' his Shetland Sheepdog.
Fry has published 6 suspense thrillers with more to be released in 2017: The Lazarus Succession, the bestselling thriller Suicide Seeds, The Brodsky Affair, Dying Days, and 2 short stories, Check Mate and Is That You, Jim?

Lost Art. Murder. A collector who will stop at nothing.
In the tradition of Dan Brown and Robert Ludlum's novels, The Brodsky Affair will keep you on the edge of your seat as Ken Fry weaves a tale of murder, mystery and intrigue.
"Elevating The Brodsky Affair above its high-octane set of mysteries, chases, and murders is Fry's ability to bring the world of high art and especially the paintings of Mikhail Brodsky to life."
"I found the setting here to be tremendously powerful. The mystery itself is classy and intelligent, and develops into a killer of a finale…. Try this one if you like your art-heist thrillers to be gritty, real, and steeped in history."
"This book kept me on the edge of my seat -- or bed -- as it kept me awake as it headed into its final chapters."
Jack Manton, an art dealer, and his partner, Tamsin Greene, did not expect to be targets of assassination attempts. But, when they began to track down the lost paintings of Russian artist, Mikhail Brodsky, now worth millions... that is what happened.
Berezin, a partially disabled, entrepreneurial Russian criminal, murderer and art thief, employs a deadly and vicious ex-Soviet agent to follow Manton and use whatever means necessary to steal what he finds.
The chase moves from Australia to UK, to Russia and France, as Interpol attempts to unravel a complex trail of murders and art thefts.
Jack Manton faces a perilous path of murder and deceit, before Brodsky's last unfinished work is revealed, and its destiny decided at a final confrontation.

An Amazon #1 BESTSELLER
From the author of suspense thrillers, Ken Fry, comes a fitting novel for our times.
"This book has deep down grunt that gives the storyline a rich and meaningful foundation. Corporate greed. The making of a psychopathic killer. Corruption. Murder. Cruelty. Love and loyalty. An epic idea in the suicide seed technology.... Everything builds inch by inch. Slowly and relentlessly. Like multiple angles to the same force that explodes in the final chapters.... An intriguing setting in 3rd world Africa. Great characters, both the good guys and the bad. And a wonderful dog hero that is worth the read on his own.... But above all, there's a latent power here that I also noticed in a previous read of this author. Fry writes real, gritty stuff." - Blake Malone
AMBITION. CORRUPTION. MURDER.
How far will people go for fame and fortune? And at what cost?
A genetically modified seed was developed by a western GM seed company, NewCrop, to end the famine in West Africa. Lloyd Olsen, one of their top executives, leaves everything behind to move to West Africa and head the company's operation. If he succeeds, a CEO position would be more than just a dream.
Olsen was not informed that NewCrop plans to make West Africa a staging post for a large and highly suspect operation - The distribution of a non-seeding, nightmare crop... dubbed the Suicide Seed.
A seed that could stop the famine and feed the hungry millions...
But a seed that kills itself and all other natural seeds in its proximity...
Eventually devastating the continent's agriculture, and wreaking havoc to its biodiversity. Farmers would have no choice but to buy their yearly supply from NewCrop. Either that, or starve and die.
Is this the beginning of the GMO Apocalypse?

According to legend, Annas Zevi, an artist who witnessed the raising of Lazarus, was told by Christ to paint what he saw. Over the centuries, his completed works has vanished, along with every other painting depicting Lazarus’ resurrection. They were rumoured to be sacred icons with miraculous powers.
Broderick Ladro and Ulla Stuart is hired by a disgraced High Court judge, Sir Maxwell Throgmorton, to locate a long lost medieval painting by Spanish artist Francisco Cortez. Like Zevi, his work is said to be divinely inspired.
Throgmorton's client, a wealthy Spanish Condesa, is terminally ill and the icon is her last hope. She willl pay and do whatever it takes to find the missing work of Cortez. Unbeknown to the Condesa, Throgmorton seeks to make a vast personal fortune from the discovery of the paintings, and plans to use it to reclaim his place in society.
When Ladro and Stuart learns of Throgmorton’s deceit, they begin a battle to stop his plans. In the process, they discover the Lazarus secret... and unveils a shocking revelation.

Scott Anderson is terminally ill, and is not expected to live much longer. As an ex-RAF officer from World War Two, operating in Bomber Command, he has come to realise that once he is dead, there will be no one to pass on what he knows about his life; what he did with it, and the lives of his ancestors. He wants his adult children to know about his history so they, in turn, can pass it onto their children. It's important, he thinks, to know where you come from, your roots and your heritage. He begins to dictate his story to his son Hugh. It's an extensive and highly surprising account of Anderson's wartime experiences and his early life. He also reveals the whereabouts of a large, locked wooden chest, which is only to be opened once he has died. Inside, he says, they will find part of their inheritance. In fact, what Anderson's children find in the box will ensure that their lives will never be the same again. There was, it seems, a darker reason for his deathbed revelation, and the box contains a shocking legacy that will impact deeply on all their lives and, in doing so, will take them around the world.
